Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Car Valeter to join our busy fleet operations in Reading. This is a crucial role responsible for ensuring our vehicles meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation for our customers, particularly those arriving from airport connections. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to the smooth and professional operation of our rental services. Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior and exterior cleaning of a diverse fleet of vehicles.
- Vacuum, shampoo, and detail vehicle interiors, including dashboards, consoles, and windows.
- Wash, wax, and polish vehicle exteriors to a high standard.
- Inspect vehicles for any damages or missing items and report findings.
- Replenish vehicle essentials such as fuel, washer fluid, and air pressure.
- Safely move vehicles within the depot and prepare them for customer collection.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area.
- Adhere to all safety and company guidelines.
Required Skills
- Valid UK driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
