Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email regarding freight status, pickup requests, delivery schedules, and general service information.
  • Utilize internal systems and tools to track shipments, resolve issues, and provide accurate information to customers.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments, including operations, sales, and claims, to address customer needs and resolve service discrepancies.
  • Document all customer interactions accurately and thoroughly in the customer relationship management (CRM) system.
  • Assist with processing freight bills, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with company policies and transportation regulations.
  • Identify and escalate complex issues to senior representatives or management as needed.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance knowledge of FedEx Freight services and industry best practices.
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction in all interactions.

Required Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
