Job Description

As a Google Customer Success Manager with a focus on Tech Startups, you will be pivotal in nurturing and expanding relationships with our most innovative and rapidly growing clients. You will serve as a trusted advisor, understanding their unique challenges and helping them leverage Google’s vast ecosystem of products and services to achieve their business objectives. This hybrid role demands a proactive approach, deep technical understanding, and exceptional relationship management skills to drive customer satisfaction, retention, and growth within the vibrant tech startup community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with key stakeholders at tech startups.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of strategic startup clients, ensuring their success with Google products.
  • Proactively identify customer needs and pain points, providing strategic guidance and solutions leveraging Google's offerings (e.g., Google Cloud, Google Ads, Workspace).
  • Drive product adoption and expansion within your assigned accounts, working closely with sales and product teams.
  • Monitor customer health, identify at-risk accounts, and develop action plans to mitigate churn and promote retention.
  • Advocate for customer needs internally, influencing product roadmaps and service improvements.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and present performance insights and strategic recommendations to clients.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Customer Success, Account Management, or Consulting, specifically with tech companies or startups.
  • Demonstrated understanding of the tech startup ecosystem and common challenges.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Google Workspace tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Google Ads products.
  • Familiarity with SaaS business models and customer lifecycle management.
  • Ability to influence and negotiate with senior-level stakeholders.
