Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Interior Car Detailer to join our growing team at Sketty Auto Centre. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about vehicle aesthetics and cleanliness. You will be responsible for ensuring the interior of our clients’ vehicles meets the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. We provide all necessary equipment and offer daily pay, ensuring you are compensated promptly for your hard work. This on-site role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and thrives in a fast-paced environment, contributing to our reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough interior cleaning of various vehicle types, including cars, vans, and SUVs.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets, floor mats, and upholstery to remove dirt and stains.
- Clean and condition leather, vinyl, and plastic surfaces.
- Detail dashboards, door panels, center consoles, and other interior components.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and interior glass to a streak-free finish.
- Empty and clean trash receptacles, ashtrays, and storage compartments.
- Apply appropriate interior protection products and air fresheners.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure all equipment is properly stored.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
Required Skills
- High attention to detail and a keen eye for cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks requiring bending, crouching, and lifting.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic understanding of car care products and their application.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure efficient service delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in car detailing, valeting, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of different interior materials and appropriate cleaning techniques.
- A valid UK driving license is preferred but not essential.
