Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finished Products Chemist to join our Quality Control team. In this high-demand role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and integrity of our pharmaceutical products before they reach our patients. You will perform critical analytical testing on finished goods, ensuring compliance with strict regulatory standards and internal specifications. This position requires a strong understanding of analytical chemistry principles, meticulous execution, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of quality and safety in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform routine and non-routine analytical testing on finished pharmaceutical products using various techniques (e.g., HPLC, GC, UV/Vis, KF, dissolution).
  • Interpret and analyze data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established specifications and cGMP guidelines.
  • Troubleshoot and maintain laboratory instrumentation to ensure optimal performance and calibration.
  • Document all analytical procedures, results, and observations meticulously and in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Out-of-Specification (OOS) investigations and laboratory investigations, contributing to root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, quality assurance, and R&D teams to support product release and investigations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment, following all safety protocols.
  • Stay current with industry trends, regulatory changes, and new analytical methodologies.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in analytical chemistry techniques (HPLC, GC, UV/Vis spectroscopy, Karl Fischer titration).
  • Strong understanding of cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices) and GLP (Good Laboratory Practices).
  • Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Proficient in using laboratory information management systems (LIMS) and other relevant software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
  • Prior experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
  • Experience with method validation and transfer.
  • Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and quality by design (QbD) principles.
