Job Description
Are you meticulous, observant, and have an interest in tools and equipment? The Home Depot is seeking a detail-oriented Tool Rental Mystery Shopper with a technical focus to help us assess and enhance the customer experience at our Tool Rental Centers in Lakewood, Colorado. This unique part-time role involves discreetly visiting our stores, interacting with associates in the Tool Rental department, and evaluating various aspects of service, equipment knowledge, and overall store environment. Comprehensive training will be provided, making this an ideal opportunity for individuals eager to learn and contribute to service excellence, regardless of prior mystery shopping experience. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assigned mystery shopping visits to The Home Depot Tool Rental Centers in the Lakewood, Colorado area.
- Evaluate the customer service provided by Tool Rental associates, specifically their knowledge of equipment and rental procedures.
- Assess the cleanliness, organization, and availability of tools and equipment in the rental center.
- Observe and report on the technical advice offered regarding tool usage, safety, and maintenance.
- Accurately and thoroughly complete detailed online reports within specified deadlines, providing objective observations and constructive feedback.
- Adhere strictly to all assignment guidelines and ethical mystery shopping practices.
- Maintain confidentiality regarding assignments and findings.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and observational skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Basic understanding or interest in tools, equipment, or DIY projects.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and guidelines meticulously.
- Reliable access to transportation for store visits.
