Job Description
We are seeking a highly creative and data-driven Remote Instagram Manager with a strong focus on Google Brand Awareness. This role is crucial in shaping our brand’s presence and perception across Instagram, driving engagement, and expanding our reach. You will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive Instagram strategy that aligns with Google’s overarching marketing goals, ensuring our brand voice resonates with our diverse global audience. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States, collaborating with teams across different time zones to amplify Google’s story.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our comprehensive Instagram content strategy and editorial calendar.
- Create compelling, high-quality visual content (images, videos, Reels, Stories) optimized for Instagram.
- Monitor Instagram trends, algorithm changes, and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.
- Engage with our community, respond to comments and DMs, and foster a positive brand image.
- Collaborate with internal marketing, product, and communications teams to ensure brand consistency and message alignment.
- Analyze performance data using Instagram Insights and other analytics tools, generating regular reports on key metrics.
- Optimize content and campaigns based on data-driven insights to maximize reach, engagement, and brand awareness.
- Manage Instagram advertising campaigns, including budget allocation and performance tracking.
- Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging features on the Instagram platform.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an Instagram Manager or similar social media role.
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing successful Instagram strategies.
- Expertise in Instagram's platform features, analytics, and advertising tools.
- Strong understanding of brand awareness principles and content marketing.
- Excellent visual storytelling and content creation skills (photo, video, graphic design).
- Proficiency with social media management and analytics platforms.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience managing social media for a large, global brand, particularly in the tech industry.
- Familiarity with Google's products, services, and brand guidelines.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.
- Experience with influencer marketing and brand partnerships on Instagram.
- Data analysis skills with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
