Job Description
Are you passionate about college football and have a keen eye for detail? Electronic Arts is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Seasonal Peak Work Testers to join our team in Chicago. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the quality and polish of our upcoming EA Sports College Football title. You’ll work closely with our development and QA teams, identifying bugs, providing crucial feedback, and helping us deliver an unparalleled gaming experience. This is a temporary position designed to support our peak development cycle, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to a highly anticipated game.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute detailed test plans and test cases to identify defects, inconsistencies, and issues within the game.
- Log, track, and re-test bugs using internal bug tracking software, providing clear and concise reproduction steps.
- Collaborate with developers and quality assurance leads to understand game features and provide informed feedback.
- Perform various types of testing, including functionality, performance, usability, and localization.
- Reproduce reported issues and verify fixes efficiently and accurately.
- Contribute to a positive and productive team environment, offering constructive criticism and solutions.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Deep passion for video games, particularly sports titles and college football.
- Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with gaming consoles (e.g., PlayStation, Xbox).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate issues clearly.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying potential issues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or game testing, even informal.
