Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and design-savvy Furniture Labeler to join our remote team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately categorizing, tagging, and describing furniture products within our extensive catalog, with a strong emphasis on interior design principles and terminology. Your work will directly impact product discoverability, customer understanding, and the overall design experience on our platform. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately label and categorize furniture products based on style, material, function, brand, and other relevant attributes.
- Utilize interior design knowledge to apply precise and aesthetically appropriate tags (e.g., Mid-Century Modern, Bohemian, Industrial, Farmhouse, Scandinavian).
- Review product images and descriptions to ensure consistency and accuracy in labeling.
- Collaborate with product data and content teams to improve labeling guidelines and ensure data quality.
- Identify and correct discrepancies in product information.
- Stay updated on current interior design trends, furniture styles, and terminology to enhance labeling precision.
- Assist in special projects related to catalog enrichment and data migration as needed.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of interior design styles, furniture terminology, and aesthetics.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency with computers and data entry tasks.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) or Google Workspace equivalents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Art History, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
- Previous experience in product labeling, catalog management, or data entry, particularly in a retail or e-commerce setting.
- Familiarity with various Furniture Design software or catalog management systems.
- A portfolio or demonstrable passion for interior design projects or knowledge.
