Job Description
Are you a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide (HHA) looking for rewarding afternoon and overnight shifts? BrightStar Care of Boulder is seeking caring individuals to provide exceptional support to clients in their homes across the region. As an HHA, you will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being during critical hours. Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in stimulating activities.
- Help with light housekeeping tasks, meal preparation, and feeding.
- Assist with safe client transfers and ambulation.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to the nursing supervisor.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for clients.
- Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner according to BrightStar Care policies.
- Administer medications as directed and within scope of practice.
Required Skills
- Current HHA certification in Colorado.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Basic computer literacy for documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience (6+ months) in home healthcare or assisted living.
- Current CPR certification.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care.
