Job Description
Join Microsoft’s innovative team as a Transcription Intern for our Paid Summer Remote Program. You will be responsible for transcribing audio and video content, ensuring accuracy and contributing to the improvement of our speech recognition and natural language processing models. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe audio and video files into text format.
- Review and edit transcribed content for grammar, punctuation, and contextual accuracy.
- Assist in identifying and annotating specific linguistic features or data points as required by project specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and fellow interns to meet deadlines and project goals.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding all transcribed materials.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
Required Skills
- Excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Strong typing speed and accuracy.
- Ability to follow complex instructions and style guides.
- Familiarity with various audio/video file formats.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program (any discipline).
