Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Grant Writer to join our remote team. This role is perfect for an aspiring professional with a passion for non-profit work and a talent for compelling storytelling. You will be instrumental in securing funding to support our vital programs by researching potential grant opportunities, drafting persuasive proposals, and managing the submission process. Key Responsibilities
- Research and identify potential grant opportunities from foundations, corporations, and government agencies that align with our mission and programs.
- Draft compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and other fundraising materials, ensuring adherence to grantor guidelines and deadlines.
- Collaborate with program managers and other team members to gather necessary information and data for proposals.
- Maintain a grant calendar and tracking system for all applications, submissions, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with the preparation of grant reports and impact statements.
- Proofread and edit all written materials for clarity, grammar, and accuracy.
- Support the development team with administrative tasks related to grants management.
