Job Description
We are seeking highly detail-oriented and reliable individuals to join our team as Remote General Transcribers. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within the United States. You will be responsible for converting audio and video files into accurate text transcripts. This role requires excellent listening skills, strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling, and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. No prior experience is required, making this an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in remote work or data services.
Key Responsibilities
- Transcribe audio and video files accurately and efficiently into text.
- Ensure high levels of accuracy in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Adhere to specific client style guides and formatting requirements.
- Review and edit transcripts for quality assurance.
- Manage workload and meet daily/weekly transcription targets.
- Maintain confidentiality of all transcribed materials.
Required Skills
- Excellent English listening and comprehension skills.
- Proficient in English grammar, spelling, and punctuation.
- Ability to type accurately and efficiently (minimum 60 WPM recommended).
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable internet connection and a personal computer.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.

- Familiarity with various accents and dialects.
- Experience with transcription software (though training will be provided).
- Basic knowledge of different subject matters (e.g., medical, legal, technical).
