Job Description
Are you a student looking for a flexible way to earn money while studying? Deliveroo is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Student Couriers to join our team in Westminster. Use your own bike or car to deliver delicious food from local restaurants and grocery stores directly to our customers. This is an excellent opportunity to manage your own schedule, be your own boss, and earn competitive pay. Key Responsibilities
- Pick up food orders from various restaurants and grocery partners.
- Safely and efficiently deliver orders to customers within designated delivery zones.
- Provide excellent customer service during every delivery interaction.
- Manage delivery times and routes effectively using the Deliveroo rider app.
- Maintain a clean and presentable appearance.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Handle payments and order adjustments when necessary.
- Communicate effectively with restaurant staff, customers, and Deliveroo support.
Required Skills
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess your own bike (pedal or electric) or car.
- Have a valid UK driving license (if using a car).
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and a customer-focused approach.
- Access to a smartphone (iOS or Android).
- Right to work in the UK.
- Ability to lift and carry delivery bags (up to 10kg).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Westminster area and surrounding districts.
- Previous experience in delivery or customer service roles is a plus, but not required.
- Enthusiasm for food and technology.
