Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Cabinet Hardware Adjuster to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This role focuses on the precise adjustment and minor repair of cabinet hardware, ensuring optimal functionality and appearance. Additionally, you will be responsible for various small maintenance tasks around our facilities, contributing to a safe and well-maintained environment for both our associates and customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform precise adjustments and alignments of cabinet doors, drawers, and various hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot and repair minor issues with cabinet hinges, slides, pulls, and other fittings.
  • Conduct routine inspections of cabinet displays and installed units to identify areas requiring adjustment or repair.
  • Assist with general facility maintenance tasks, including minor repairs, fixture adjustments, and upkeep.
  • Utilize basic hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring tools and supplies are properly stored.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding task progress and completion.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Required Skills

  • Demonstrated proficiency with basic hand tools (screwdrivers, wrenches, levels, drills).
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
  • Basic understanding of measurements and alignments.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in carpentry, cabinet installation, or general maintenance.
  • Familiarity with various types of cabinet hardware and their mechanisms.
  • Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment.
