Job Description
Google is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Google Ads Content Reviewer. This is an entry-level, full-time on-site position based in our Sunnyvale office, with an immediate start available. As a Content Reviewer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of advertisements displayed across Google’s platforms. Your work will directly contribute to maintaining a trusted ecosystem for both advertisers and users. In this role, you will be responsible for meticulously reviewing Google Ads content to ensure strict adherence to Google’s advertising policies, guidelines, and legal requirements. You will evaluate text, images, and videos for appropriateness, accuracy, and compliance, making informed decisions that protect our users and maintain the integrity of our advertising ecosystem. This is a fast-paced environment that requires sharp analytical skills, excellent judgment, and a keen eye for detail. Training will be provided to help you master our policies and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and evaluate Google Ads content (text, images, videos) against established advertising policies and guidelines.
- Identify and action policy violations, including but not limited to deceptive practices, hate speech, illegal products, and copyright infringement.
- Make consistent and accurate policy enforcement decisions in a high-volume environment.
- Provide clear and constructive feedback on ad content quality and compliance.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure consistency in review decisions and share best practices.
- Stay up-to-date with evolving advertising policies, regional regulations, and industry trends.
- Contribute to improving internal tools and processes by identifying areas for efficiency and accuracy.
Required Skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing content.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret and apply complex policies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume operational environment.
- Basic computer proficiency and comfort with online tools and interfaces.
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain objectivity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Prior experience in content moderation, online review, or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with online advertising platforms and the digital advertising ecosystem.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Knowledge of additional languages is a plus, though not required for this role.
