Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate IV Hydration Nurse to join our dynamic team at Restore Hyper Wellness in Canton, Baltimore. This is a unique opportunity for a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who is passionate about proactive health and wellness. As an IV Hydration Nurse, you will be responsible for administering IV drip therapies, educating clients on the benefits of our services, and ensuring a safe and comfortable experience. You will play a crucial role in delivering our signature “Hyper Wellness” experience, helping clients achieve their health goals. This role offers competitive hourly pay, plus opportunities for tips and commission based on service and membership sales, recognizing your direct contribution to client satisfaction and clinic success.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform client consultations and assessments to determine appropriate IV drip therapy plans.
- Prepare and administer IV infusions according to Restore Hyper Wellness protocols and medical directives.
- Monitor clients during and after IV infusions, addressing any concerns or adverse reactions.
- Provide comprehensive education to clients regarding the benefits of IV therapy and other wellness services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed client records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards, including sterile technique.
- Collaborate with the wellness team to provide a seamless and exceptional client experience.
- Assist with inventory management and ordering of supplies as needed.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in IV therapy and wellness.
- Contribute to a positive and energetic clinic environment.
Required Skills
- Current and unrestricted RN or LPN license in the State of Maryland.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience with IV insertion and venipuncture.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an urgent care, emergency room, med-spa, or wellness clinic setting.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Experience with aesthetics or other wellness modalities.
- A passion for health, wellness, and a proactive lifestyle.
