Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and organized Pinterest Healthcare Data Clerk with a medical focus to join our dynamic team in Fishers. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the precise entry, organization, and maintenance of healthcare data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant regulations. The ‘Pinterest’ aspect of the role emphasizes a keen eye for detail in categorizing, tagging, and linking medical information, much like curating visual boards, to facilitate efficient retrieval and analysis. You will play a vital part in upholding data integrity, which directly impacts patient care and operational efficiency within our healthcare system. This position requires a strong understanding of confidentiality and a commitment to maintaining high standards in data management.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information, medical records, and administrative data into designated systems.
- Categorize and tag healthcare data, including images and reports, using a defined classification system to ensure logical organization and easy retrieval.
- Verify the integrity and accuracy of existing data, identifying and correcting discrepancies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all patient and sensitive medical information in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Assist with the retrieval and presentation of data for reporting and analytical purposes.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to clarify data inconsistencies and gather missing information.
- Support the ongoing development and improvement of data management processes and tools.
- Regularly audit data entries for quality assurance and compliance.
- Manage and organize digital and physical medical records efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with data entry and data management systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
- Strong understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

Preferred Qualifications
