Job Description
Are you ready to kickstart your career in logistics and transportation? FedEx Ground is looking for dedicated and motivated Non-CDL Delivery Drivers to join our team in Oceanside, CA. No prior experience is necessary – we provide comprehensive training to help you succeed. As a Delivery Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering packages to residential and commercial customers using a box truck. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck (non-CDL required) for package delivery and pickup routes.
- Deliver packages to residential and commercial customers in a timely and professional manner.
- Load and unload packages from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain necessary signatures.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
- Provide exceptional customer service during every interaction.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license (Class C equivalent).
- Clean driving record for the past three years.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to maneuver heavy packages with appropriate equipment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Familiarity with local delivery area routes in Oceanside, CA.
