Job Description
We are seeking a talented and creative Remote Shopify Store Designer to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your design and technical skills to build stunning, high-converting e-commerce stores for a diverse range of clients. You will be instrumental in translating client visions into functional and aesthetically pleasing Shopify experiences, working fully remotely from anywhere in Canada. Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop custom Shopify themes and templates using Liquid, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Implement responsive and user-friendly interfaces that provide optimal experiences across all devices.
- Collaborate closely with clients, project managers, and development teams to understand requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
- Ensure cross-browser compatibility and optimize website performance for speed and efficiency.
- Conduct A/B testing and implement conversion rate optimization strategies to maximize client success.
- Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, design trends, and e-commerce best practices.
- Provide ongoing support, maintenance, and enhancements for launched Shopify stores.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Shopify theme development, including Liquid, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Strong understanding of UI/UX principles specifically for e-commerce platforms.
- Proven experience with responsive design and mobile-first development methodologies.
- Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a remote team environment.
- A compelling portfolio demonstrating previous Shopify design and development work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with Shopify Plus environments and advanced features.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices for e-commerce websites.
