Job Description
UCHealth is seeking a dedicated and organized Assisted Living Administrator to join our team in Aurora, CO. This crucial local role supports the efficient operation of our assisted living facility, ensuring a high quality of life for our residents and smooth administrative processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a compassionate demeanor, and a strong ability to manage various administrative tasks within a healthcare setting. This position is vital to our daily operations and directly contributes to the well-being of our senior community.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily administrative operations of the assisted living facility.
- Manage resident admissions, discharges, and record-keeping with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Coordinate resident services, appointments, and activities schedules.
- Act as a primary point of contact for residents, their families, and staff regarding administrative inquiries.
- Process billing, payroll, and other financial records in coordination with the finance department.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and company policies.
- Assist in staff scheduling and HR-related administrative tasks.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and resident care necessities.
Required Skills
- Proven administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare or senior living environment.
- Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Compassionate and patient-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA).
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
