Job Description
We are seeking enthusiastic and hardworking individuals to join our Farm Camp as Pickers. This is a fantastic opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to the harvest of fresh produce, and be part of a vibrant, social working environment. With accommodation and meals (‘Board Included’) provided, this role is perfect for those looking for a seasonal position with a strong community feel. You will be an essential part of our team, ensuring the timely and careful picking of crops, directly impacting the quality of produce reaching our shelves.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pick a variety of crops according to quality standards and picking guidelines.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet daily picking targets.
- Maintain a clean and tidy work area in the fields.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and farm policies.
- Participate in team briefings and contribute to a positive camp atmosphere.
- Report any issues with crops or equipment to supervisors promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physical work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in agricultural work or manual labour.
- Basic understanding of crop picking techniques.
