Job Description
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and tech-savvy Visual Discovery Specialist to join our remote team. In this role, you will be instrumental in enhancing the visual content experience across Google’s app and tech platforms. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the relevance, quality, and discoverability of visual assets, contributing to an engaging and intuitive user experience. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for technology and app ecosystems, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and curate visual content for various Google app and tech products to ensure accuracy, quality, and brand consistency.
- Identify emerging visual trends and user preferences within the app and tech landscape to inform content strategy.
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to improve visual asset pipelines and display methodologies.
- Perform quality assurance checks on new and existing visual content, ensuring adherence to guidelines and specifications.
- Utilize internal tools and systems to manage, tag, and optimize visual assets for discoverability.
- Provide actionable feedback and insights to content creators and partners regarding visual performance and user engagement.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in visual technology, app design, and user experience trends.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in visual content analysis, curation, or quality assurance within a tech or app-focused environment.
- Strong understanding of app ecosystems, mobile UI/UX principles, and digital content platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a critical eye for visual quality and relevance.
- Proficiency in using content management systems and data analysis tools.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate visual concepts and feedback clearly.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
- Familiarity with visual asset formats, resolution requirements, and optimization techniques.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Design, Information Technology).
- Experience with visual trend analysis and market research.
