Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weekend Room Attendant with a primary focus on housekeeping to join our team in Irving, Texas. This part-time role is crucial for ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and inviting stay. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of guest rooms and public areas, primarily on weekends. Key Responsibilities
- Clean and service assigned guest rooms daily, including making beds, dusting furniture, vacuuming carpets, and cleaning bathrooms.
- Replenish amenities and linens according to established standards.
- Inspect rooms for damage, hazards, or maintenance issues and report them promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas as assigned, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Handle guest requests and inquiries with courtesy and efficiency.
- Adhere to safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
- Manage time effectively to complete all assigned tasks within the shift.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are maintained and stored properly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, stoop, stand, walk for extended periods, and push a cart weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Reliable and punctual.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or a similar role.
- Knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and proper usage.
- Familiarity with hotel operating procedures.
