Key Responsibilities
- Participate in a structured training program covering all aspects of package sorting and distribution.
- Learn to supervise and coordinate the activities of package handlers and material handlers.
- Assist in monitoring operational performance, including productivity, safety, and quality metrics.
- Help ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and government guidelines.
- Support the manager in scheduling, training, and performance management of team members.
- Develop an understanding of daily volume forecasting and resource allocation.
- Actively contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
- Learn to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Required Skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physical environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Availability to work various shifts, including nights and weekends.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a leadership, supervisory, or team-lead role (even in non-logistics fields).
- Experience in a warehouse, production, or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and procedures.
