Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Pinterest Image Editor with a strong focus on bulk processing to join our creative team. In this role, you will be responsible for editing, optimizing, and preparing a high volume of product and lifestyle images specifically for our Pinterest marketing campaigns. Your primary goal will be to ensure all visual content aligns with Zappos’ brand guidelines, maintains a consistent aesthetic, and is optimized for maximum engagement on Pinterest. This position requires proficiency in image editing software, an understanding of digital asset management, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with weekly deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-volume image editing, retouching, and manipulation tasks for Pinterest content.
- Optimize images for web and Pinterest specifications, including resizing, cropping, color correction, and file compression.
- Ensure all visual assets adhere strictly to Zappos' brand guidelines and visual standards.
- Manage and organize digital image files, ensuring proper naming conventions and archiving.
- Collaborate closely with marketing, social media, and product teams to understand content needs and project deadlines.
- Implement feedback on image edits efficiently and accurately.
- Stay updated on Pinterest best practices and emerging trends in visual content creation.
- Maintain consistency in image quality and style across all Pinterest boards and pins.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for image editing, retouching, and manipulation.
- Demonstrated experience with bulk image processing techniques and tools.
- Strong understanding of image optimization for web and social media platforms, especially Pinterest.
- Exceptional eye for detail, color, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet weekly production deadlines.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic knowledge of digital asset management (DAM) principles.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Photography, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- Experience with other Adobe Creative Suite applications (e.g., Illustrator, Lightroom).
- Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and product photography workflows.
- A strong online portfolio showcasing relevant image editing and Pinterest-optimized work.
