Job Description
Are you looking for an active, rewarding weekend role that keeps you moving and brings smiles to faces? Fête en Folie Locations is seeking enthusiastic and physically capable individuals to join our delivery and setup team. As a Bouncy Castle Delivery & Setup team member, you will be responsible for transporting, installing, and dismantling our range of inflatable attractions and event equipment. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, doesn’t mind heavy lifting, and thrives in a dynamic, customer-facing environment. Weekends are our busiest times, making this an ideal position for those seeking supplementary income or flexible hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Load, transport, and unload bouncy castles and other event equipment safely and efficiently.
- Drive company vehicles (vans) to various event locations across Lyon and surrounding areas.
- Set up inflatable attractions according to safety guidelines and client specifications, including securing and inflating.
- Provide basic instructions to clients on safe operation and usage of rented equipment.
- Dismantle, clean, and pack up equipment upon conclusion of events, ensuring proper storage.
- Perform routine checks on equipment for damage or wear, reporting any issues to management.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
Required Skills
- Valid French driver's license (Permis B) with a clean driving record.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 30-50 kg) and strenuous physical activity for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend shifts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a small team.
- Basic problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in delivery, logistics, or event setup.
- Familiarity with inflatable equipment or similar rental products.
- First Aid certification is a plus.
