Job Description
Are you meticulous, reliable, and looking for part-time work with flexible hours? Two Men and a Truck in Overland Park is seeking dedicated Light Home Removals Taskers focused exclusively on packing and loading. This role is perfect for individuals who excel at organizing, protecting belongings, and working efficiently as part of a team. You will be responsible for carefully packing customers’ household items and loading them onto our moving trucks, ensuring everything is secure for transit. No driving required for this specific role – just expert packing and heavy lifting.
Key Responsibilities
- Carefully pack household items using appropriate packing materials to prevent damage.
- Efficiently and safely load packed boxes and furniture onto moving trucks, utilizing proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Wrap and protect furniture, fragile items, and other belongings.
- Maintain clear communication with team members and clients throughout the packing and loading process.
- Organize and label boxes for easy identification at the destination.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip checks of equipment and materials.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Assist with other duties as assigned to ensure a smooth moving experience.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to 50 lbs) regularly and safely.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for effective packing.
