Job Description
Are you passionate about live music and looking for flexible, engaging work? Live Nation Entertainment is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Stagehands to join our production teams for casual venue work in Indianapolis. This is a fantastic opportunity to be an integral part of various music events, from intimate club shows to large-scale concerts, with weekly payouts for your valuable contributions. Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the efficient loading and unloading of stage equipment, instruments, and production materials.
- Set up and strike staging elements, backline, sound systems, lighting rigs, video screens, and other technical equipment according to event specifications.
- Operate follow spots, spotlights, or other specified technical equipment during performances as directed by the production manager.
- Perform general labor duties, including cabling, sweeping, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhere strictly to all venue safety protocols, company policies, and industry best practices.
- Work collaboratively with production managers, technical crews, artists, and venue staff to ensure smooth event execution.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy equipment (up to 50 lbs) safely and repeatedly.
- Basic understanding of stage setup principles and common event production terminology.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality, particularly for call times.
- Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event schedules.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a stagehand, production assistant, or in a similar role within live events.
- Familiarity with basic audio, lighting, or video equipment operation.
- Experience working in a fast-paced live venue or concert environment.
