Job Description
Are you detail-oriented, handy with tools, and looking to start a career with a global leader? IKEA is seeking an Office Chair Trainee for a simple manual gig in our Sugar Land facility. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with no prior experience who are eager to learn and contribute to delivering high-quality products to our customers. You will be responsible for assembling IKEA office chairs according to precise instructions, ensuring each product meets our stringent quality standards. This is an on-site role where you’ll gain valuable experience in a supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately assemble various models of IKEA office chairs by following detailed assembly instructions and diagrams.
- Perform thorough quality checks on all assembled chairs to identify and rectify any defects or inconsistencies.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- Learn and adapt to new product designs and assembly techniques.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet production targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, material shortages, or assembly issues to the supervisor.
- Adhere to all company safety protocols and operational guidelines.
