Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Documentary Film Scribe to join our creative media team. This pivotal role involves meticulous logging, transcription, and annotation of raw footage for various documentary projects. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional listening skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to accurately document visual and auditory information to support our editorial and production teams. You will play a crucial part in the narrative development and post-production process, ensuring all media assets are perfectly cataloged and easily accessible.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately transcribe dialogue, voice-overs, and sound bites from raw documentary footage.
- Log and annotate visual information, noting key scenes, actions, and relevant timestamps.
- Create detailed shot lists and scene breakdowns, identifying essential B-roll and interview segments.
- Manage and organize metadata for all project assets, ensuring consistency and searchability.
- Assist editors and producers by quickly retrieving specific footage or textual information.
- Collaborate with the production team to understand project goals and deliver relevant documentation.
- Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive project information and unreleased content.
Required Skills
