Job Description

Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport patients via wheelchairs, stretchers, or beds to various departments (e.g., admissions, discharge, surgery, imaging).
- Assist with the movement of medical equipment, supplies, specimens, and patient belongings as required.
- Ensure all transport equipment is clean, in good working order, and readily available.
- Communicate effectively and courteously with patients, visitors, and staff members.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including transport areas and equipment storage.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control procedures.
- Respond promptly to requests for transport and complete tasks efficiently.
- Provide basic assistance and comfort to patients during transport.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to appropriate personnel.

- Basic First Aid and CPR certification (training provided if not certified).
