Job Description
Are you a high school student looking for a dynamic part-time role that fits your school schedule? The Cheesecake Factory in Denver is seeking enthusiastic and friendly High School Hosts/Hostesses for night and weekend shifts. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable customer service experience, work in a fast-paced environment, and earn competitive pay with tips. You’ll be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Warmly greet and welcome guests upon arrival, managing waitlists efficiently and accurately.
- Escort guests to their tables, presenting menus and assisting with initial seating.
- Manage reservations and walk-in guest flow to optimize dining room seating and minimize wait times.
- Answer phone calls professionally, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and entrance area.
- Assist servers and management with various tasks to ensure smooth restaurant operations.
- Collaborate with the front-of-house team to deliver outstanding guest service.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Friendly, outgoing, and professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 15 lbs.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Availability to work evening and weekend shifts as required.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is a plus, but not required.
- A passion for hospitality and creating positive guest experiences.
