Job Description
We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inbound Logistics Clerk to join our team in Oxapampa. This crucial role is responsible for the precise verification of all incoming deliveries, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders and maintaining the integrity of our inventory. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to operational excellence within a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify all inbound shipments against accompanying documentation (purchase orders, delivery notes, etc.).
- Document discrepancies, damages, or shortages immediately and report them to the appropriate department.
- Accurately record incoming goods into the inventory management system.
- Organize and store received materials in designated locations.
- Coordinate with carriers and internal teams for smooth receiving operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized receiving area.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (MS Office Suite).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages up to 25 kg.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a logistics, warehouse, or inventory role.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (WMS).
- Knowledge of supply chain processes.
- Forklift certification (optional but a plus).
- Bilingual (Spanish and English) is a plus.
