Job Description

Are you under 21, eager to start your career in hospitality, and looking for a role where you can learn and grow? Hilton Hotels & Resorts in Norwich is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Hotel Porter to join our dedicated team. This entry-level position is perfect for individuals with little to no prior experience, as comprehensive training and mentorship will be provided. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay, assisting with luggage, deliveries, and general guest support. We value a positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a commitment to providing outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with their luggage to and from their rooms.
  • Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and general information about the hotel and local area.
  • Handle incoming and outgoing deliveries, ensuring proper logging and distribution.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the hotel lobby and entrance areas.
  • Assist with setting up and breaking down meeting rooms or event spaces as required.
  • Support the front desk and other hotel departments with various tasks to ensure smooth operations.
  • Adhere to all hotel safety and security procedures and policies.
  • Learn and apply best practices in guest service and hotel operations through provided training.
