Job Description

As a Member Service Rep, you will be the first point of contact for our valued members, providing excellent service, processing transactions, and identifying their financial needs. Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service to credit union members in person, over the phone, and via digital channels.
- Process various financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and transfers.
- Identify member needs and educate them on appropriate credit union products and services, such as loans, accounts, and digital banking options.
- Resolve member inquiries and issues with professionalism and empathy, escalating complex matters when necessary.
- Adhere to all credit union policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance standards.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality regarding member information.
- Actively participate in ongoing paid training and professional development programs to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new software.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated strong work ethic and a commitment to accuracy.
- A genuine desire to help others and provide excellent service.
- Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a background check.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, or a related field (though not required due to paid training).
- Familiarity with financial products and services.
- Associate's degree or some college coursework.
