Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated and energetic Warehouse Runners for immediate openings at our Greenspoint, Houston facility. This is a fast-paced role critical to the smooth operation of our warehouse. As a Warehouse Runner, you will be responsible for quickly and accurately moving products, materials, and packages throughout the facility, supporting various departments from inbound to outbound operations. Ideal candidates thrive in a dynamic environment, possess excellent physical stamina, and have a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently move and transport packages, products, and materials across the warehouse floor using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.).
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring proper handling and placement of goods.
- Sort and organize items in designated areas, maintaining an organized and safe work environment.
- Scan and track inventory movements accurately using handheld devices.
- Support inventory counts and assist with identifying misplaced or damaged items.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational targets and deadlines.
- Perform other general warehouse duties as assigned to support overall operations.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs regularly throughout a shift.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance for standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in handling items.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Basic communication skills to interact with team members.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory scanning and tracking systems.
- Experience operating pallet jacks or other material handling equipment.
- High school diploma or GED.
