Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Travel Itinerary Processor with a strong focus on online booking systems to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately processing, modifying, and managing travel itineraries generated through our various online booking platforms. This position requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced virtual environment. You will be a critical part of ensuring our travelers have seamless and accurate travel plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and verify travel bookings submitted through Expedia Group's online platforms, ensuring accuracy of dates, times, passenger details, and service selections.
  • Modify existing travel itineraries based on customer requests, including changes to flights, accommodations, car rentals, and activities.
  • Liaise with internal teams (e.g., customer service, supplier relations) to resolve booking discrepancies or special requests.
  • Monitor booking queues and manage workload efficiently to meet service level agreements and processing deadlines.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Expedia Group's booking systems, policies, and supplier guidelines.
  • Identify and report system issues or potential improvements to enhance booking efficiency and accuracy.
  • Assist in quality control checks for processed itineraries to minimize errors and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Handle sensitive customer information with confidentiality and adhere to data privacy regulations.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in using online travel booking platforms and reservation systems.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a remote setting.
  • Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite or similar tools.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and the ability to work under pressure.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the travel industry, particularly with online travel agencies (OTAs) or GDS systems.
  • Familiarity with various travel products (flights, hotels, cars, packages).
  • Certification in travel and tourism or related field.
  • Experience with customer service in a call center or online support environment.
