Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic part-time opportunity to contribute to a busy retail environment during peak seasons? Target in New Port Richey is seeking enthusiastic and reliable Part-time Shop Helpers to support our team, especially during weekends and holiday peaks. This role is crucial for ensuring our store runs smoothly, our shelves are well-stocked, and our guests have a positive shopping experience. You’ll be assisting with various tasks, from organizing merchandise to supporting inventory management, all while being a vital part of our high-street presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with stocking shelves and organizing merchandise on the sales floor.
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe store environment.
- Support inventory management by assisting with unpacking deliveries and sorting products.
- Provide general assistance to store team members as needed.
- Ensure a positive and welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Operate basic store equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks if trained, trolleys).
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and security guidelines.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual, especially for weekend and holiday shifts.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail environment.

- Basic understanding of retail operations and customer service principles.
