Job Description
We are seeking an accomplished and dynamic Director of Sales & Marketing to lead our efforts at Hilton Anaheim. This pivotal role is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to maximize revenue, market share, and brand presence. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in the hotel industry, demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, a deep understanding of market trends, and a passion for driving results. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to achieve and exceed revenue goals for all segments (group, transient, catering).
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and guest feedback to identify new business opportunities and refine strategies.
- Manage the department's budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources and control of expenses.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders.
- Oversee the development and execution of marketing campaigns, promotions, and digital presence to enhance brand visibility.
- Collaborate with revenue management, operations, and general management to align strategies and ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports, forecasts, and competitive analyses to senior leadership.
- Ensure compliance with all Hilton brand standards and company policies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in hotel sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a Director-level role.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful sales and marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Proficiency in hotel sales software and CRM systems.
- In-depth knowledge of the Anaheim market and hospitality industry trends.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field.
- Experience with Hilton brand standards and systems.
- Fluency in multiple languages.
- Demonstrable experience in managing large convention hotel sales.
- Certification in Sales and Marketing.
