Key Responsibilities

  • Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, fostering their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
  • Plan and execute engaging age-appropriate activities, including educational games, outdoor play, and creative arts.
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
  • Assist with homework and school projects, providing guidance and encouragement.
  • Maintain a clean and organized children's area, including tidying up toys and supplies.
  • Manage children's schedules, including school pickups/drop-offs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
  • Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience (nanny, daycare, teaching assistant).
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
  • Demonstrated ability to create a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Clean background check and professional references.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
  • Experience with children of various age groups (infants, toddlers, school-age).
  • Knowledge of child development theories and best practices.
  • Fluency in a second language.
