Key Responsibilities
- Provide attentive and nurturing care for children, fostering their physical, emotional, and intellectual development.
- Plan and execute engaging age-appropriate activities, including educational games, outdoor play, and creative arts.
- Prepare healthy meals and snacks, adhering to any dietary restrictions or preferences.
- Assist with homework and school projects, providing guidance and encouragement.
- Maintain a clean and organized children's area, including tidying up toys and supplies.
- Manage children's schedules, including school pickups/drop-offs, appointments, and extracurricular activities.
- Communicate regularly and openly with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of professional childcare experience (nanny, daycare, teaching assistant).
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain immediately).
- Demonstrated ability to create a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Clean background check and professional references.
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
- Experience with children of various age groups (infants, toddlers, school-age).
- Knowledge of child development theories and best practices.
- Fluency in a second language.
- Experience with children with special needs.
