Are you looking for your very first job? Publix in Mandarin, Jacksonville, is seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused individuals to join our team as a Grocery Bagger – First Job Specialist. This is an excellent opportunity for motivated individuals with no prior work experience to gain valuable skills in customer service, teamwork, and retail operations. As a Grocery Bagger, you’ll be an integral part of our front-end team, ensuring a pleasant and efficient shopping experience for all our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and carefully bag groceries according to customer preference, product type, and safety guidelines.
- Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles, providing friendly and helpful service.
- Retrieve shopping carts from the parking lot and ensure they are clean and available for customer use.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of checkout lanes, bagging areas, and parking lot.
- Assist with light stocking duties or other tasks as needed to support store operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and offering assistance with a positive attitude.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety and sanitation standards.
