Job Description
Join our dedicated team as a Food Production Associate and play a crucial role in delivering high-quality food products to our customers. We are looking for an individual who is committed to maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This is a fast-paced environment where your attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively will be highly valued. As a Food Production Associate, you will be involved in various stages of the manufacturing process, from ingredient preparation to packaging, all while ensuring compliance with our stringent quality control procedures. Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and company sanitation policies to ensure product integrity and workplace cleanliness.
- Perform quality checks on products at various stages of production, ensuring they meet specified standards.
- Prepare ingredients, measure components, and mix materials as required by production recipes.
- Package finished products, label, and prepare them for distribution.
- Maintain accurate production records and logs.
- Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality deviations to supervisory staff.
- Participate in regular cleaning and sanitization of work areas and equipment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
Required Skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Basic math skills for measuring and counting.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to learn and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar industrial setting.
- Understanding of HACCP principles.
- Forklift certification (if applicable to specific roles within the facility).
- High school diploma or equivalent.
