Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism.
- Process prescription orders, including data entry and insurance billing.
- Maintain organized inventory of medications and supplies, assisting with ordering and stocking.
- Answer phone calls and manage patient pick-ups.
- Adhere to all legal and company policies and procedures regarding pharmacy operations and patient privacy (HIPAA).
- Support a clean and safe pharmacy environment.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Basic computer proficiency
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and commit to a structured training program
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
