Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Box Truck Driver to join our team in Henderson, NV. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday on a day shift schedule, ensuring a consistent work-life balance. As a key member of our logistics operation, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting packages between our facilities and customer locations using a box truck. Beyond driving, this role includes essential warehouse duties such as loading, unloading, and organizing freight, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods. The ideal candidate will have a clean driving record, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
- Operate a box truck (non-CDL required) safely and efficiently for local deliveries and transfers.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and report any maintenance issues.
- Load and unload freight manually or using appropriate equipment (pallet jacks, hand trucks).
- Verify accuracy of shipments against manifests and delivery orders.
- Ensure all packages are secured properly to prevent damage during transit.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of the assigned vehicle.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as needed, including sorting, staging, and organizing inventory.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
Required Skills
- Valid US driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Minimum of 1 year of professional driving experience (box truck or similar commercial vehicle).
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 lbs regularly.
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance and safety checks.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Forklift certification or experience operating pallet jacks.
- Familiarity with local delivery routes in the Henderson/Las Vegas metropolitan area.
- Experience working in a warehouse environment.
