Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport packages to various destinations.
- Navigate routes using GPS and Amazon's proprietary delivery technology.
- Load and unload packages from the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and care.
- Deliver packages to customers' doorsteps in a timely and professional manner.
- Interact with customers courteously and resolve any delivery-related issues.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and records.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Work independently while following established delivery protocols and schedules.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Strong customer service and communication abilities.
- Comfortable working in various weather conditions.
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the US.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or currently enrolled).
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in delivery, customer service, or a related field is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with Augusta, GA, and surrounding areas.
- Ability to use handheld devices for navigation and package scanning.
