Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and “high-energy” Media Planner to join our remote team. This role is crucial for developing, executing, and optimizing effective media strategies across various digital and traditional channels for a diverse portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will possess a keen understanding of the advertising landscape, a data-driven approach, and a passion for creating impactful campaigns. You will be instrumental in translating client objectives into innovative media plans that drive measurable results. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute from anywhere.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive media strategies and plans aligned with client goals and budget.
- Conduct thorough market research, audience analysis, and competitive reviews to inform planning.
- Negotiate and purchase media placements across various channels (digital, social, programmatic, broadcast, print, OOH).
- Manage media budgets, ensuring optimal allocation and performance tracking.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide insights for optimization.
- Prepare detailed media reports and presentations for clients, highlighting key metrics and recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with internal creative, account management, and analytics teams.
- Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in media planning.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with media vendors and partners.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in media planning or media buying.
- Proficiency with media planning software and tools (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, Google Ads, Facebook Business Manager).
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data interpretation.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Strategic thinking with a creative problem-solving approach.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
