Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Part-time Shuttle Driver with a specific focus on weekend airport parking operations. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy driving, possess excellent interpersonal skills, and are available to work weekends, including early mornings and late evenings. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for transporting passengers safely and efficiently between our parking facility and the Tri-Cities Airport, ensuring a smooth and pleasant experience for all our customers. Safety, punctuality, and a positive attitude are paramount in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a passenger shuttle vehicle on designated routes between the parking facility and Tri-Cities Airport.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Adhere to scheduled pick-up and drop-off times, managing routes efficiently to prevent delays.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and presentable shuttle interior and exterior.
- Provide exceptional customer service, answering questions and assisting passengers with professionalism and courtesy.
- Comply with all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Manage passenger count and seating to ensure comfort and compliance with vehicle capacity limits.
Required Skills
- Valid US Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all traffic laws.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage, up to 50 pounds.
- Punctual and reliable, with a strong work ethic.
- Availability to work weekends, including holidays and varying shifts.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a driving or customer service role, preferably in transportation or hospitality.
- Familiarity with the Pasco, Washington area and Tri-Cities Airport layout.
- Comfortable operating larger passenger vehicles (e.g., 15-passenger vans).
- Basic mechanical aptitude for minor vehicle checks.
