Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and discreet Luxury Nursing Home Porter to join our esteemed team. In this role, you will be instrumental in maintaining the pristine condition and smooth operation of our beautiful facility, contributing to the serene and comfortable atmosphere our residents cherish. This position requires a quiet demeanor, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to upholding the highest standards of service in a luxury care environment. A professional uniform will be provided, reflecting the high standards of our home.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of general maintenance and portering duties as required, ensuring the facility remains in impeccable condition.
- Assist with the movement of furniture, equipment, and supplies within the care home, always with discretion and minimal disruption.
- Support the housekeeping and catering teams by moving items, setting up rooms for activities, and clearing areas.
- Conduct regular checks of common areas, ensuring they are clean, tidy, and presentable.
- Handle deliveries and distribute them to appropriate departments or storage areas.
- Respond promptly and courteously to requests from staff and residents, maintaining a quiet and respectful presence.
- Ensure all tasks are carried out in a manner that respects resident privacy and comfort.
- Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations and care home policies.
