Job Description

Quest Diagnostics is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Lab Support Specialist in Temecula, CA. Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, label, and process patient specimens accurately and efficiently.
  • Prepare samples for analysis, including aliquoting and centrifugation.
  • Maintain inventory of lab supplies and reagents, placing orders as needed.
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
  • Assist lab technologists with various tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Document all activities and results accurately in the laboratory information system.
  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree in a science-related field.
